الملخص: شارکت وسائل النقل البري للشحنات التجارية في عمليات النقل التجاري في مصر
في تلک الفترة جنبا إلى جنب مع وسائل النقل عبر نهر النيل والنقل البحري، وتنوعت وسائل
النقل البري ما بين دواب الحمل مثل الحمير والجمال والبغال والثيران والخيول، وکذلک
العربات التي تجرها تلک الدواب، وقد تباينت أسعارها واستخداماتها وأجورها، وکذلک تنوعت
ملکيتها بين الحکومة وکبار الملاک والعامة، ووجدت لها أسواق منظمة لبيعها وشرائها، وقد
تعددت الطرق التجارية البرية، وتنوعت محطاتها ما بين محطات المکوس والحراسة والراحة،
وارتبط بوسائل النقل البري العديد من التنظيمات منها: الخدمات الإلزامية من قبل الحکومة،
ونقابة سائقي دواب النقل، وأخيرا الضرائب والرسوم (المکوس) التي فرضت عليها.
Land Transportation Means of Commercial Shipments
in Byzantine Egypt (284-641 AD.).
Abstract: The Land transportation means of commercial shipments
participated in commercial transport operations in Egypt during that
period, along with means of transport across the Nile and maritime
transport, and it's varied between donkeys, camels, mules, oxen, and
horses, as well as the carriages that were dragged by the transport animals,
and their prices, uses, and wages have varied, and it's ownership also
varied between the government, the aristocratic and the commonalty, and
the land transportation routes and Stations were varied; between Customs
fees, guard and rest stations, and the land transportations means are linked
to many organizations, including : services compulsory by the government,
and the Transport animal drivers guild, and it's customs fees.
